More concerned with arguing about the stat demand than actually dealing with the unpaid invoices.

Confirm did not pay as waiting on money coming in

This is a company that despite various attempts by our client to extract payment simply would not pay. There were 2 outstanding invoices one of which was paid after our intervention but, 54 days overdue on 45 days terms so outstanding for 99 days. The second invoice they wanted longer to pay even although it was already overdue. They "don't agree" with late payment interest and costs being added despite legislation allowing for those to be added and them being advised of the escalation. They were given the option of paying the remaining debt by 24/6/26 or agree to pay debt, interest, costs etc and be allowed a further 7 days to pay. They claim to have agreed with the creditor to extended time to pay but, provide no evidence. In fact, the creditor had stated that it was being passed to debt collection and the debtor ignored that email. On 23/6/26 they sent an email to creditor advising they had made a payment and the outstanding invoice would follow within 7-10 days. No mention of having agreed extended payment terms. Now rather than deal with what is an undisputed debt they have said they will instruct solicitors, we can only presume this is in an attempt to delay payment or indeed avoid paying. Either way, they have been given the option to settle the matter on an amicable basis and refuse to do so. Had some ongoing correspondence with the debtor's director, they have paid remaining debt and interest but, not debt collection costs despite being advised of the legislation. Claims to have taken legal advice and further claims that we have advised our client will not be carrying out snagging works which is partially true but, our client has said and continues to say that as soon as they are paid then they will carry out snagging works. The value is minimal, a day rate and the debtor has retention which they refuse to pay despite saying it is due. They are now threating to issue payless notices and get others to carry out snagging works. We are not sure why they expect our client to carry out snagging works when 1. They had not been paid and 2. they have not been paid for debt collection costs they were forced incur due to the debtor not paying. In terms of credit risk, it is worth noting that Red Flag Alert, a credit Referencing Agency, state that this company pays suppliers on average 35 days beyond agreed terms. In terms of our client, this company paid one invoice 54 days beyond agreed terms . Also, their last available filed accounts confirm that they are balance sheet insolvent. For the avoidance of doubt, everything stated in this review is accurate and can be backed up by evidence. Update 3/7/2026 Debtor has now paid the debt including debt collection costs. It would not have cost them more if they had made payment when it was due but, as already stated, they were waiting on payment being made to them before paying my client and that's not what was agreed.

    Bad payer

A company that only pays when a third party gets involved. Don't pay interest and costs despite saying that they will. Had decrees (court judgments) against them and a winding up petition. Their credit rating is awful and that just speaks volumes of how they treat their suppliers. Also, be aware that despite not paying, they will then request further services and when advised that they never paid for the last works, rather than try and sort out payment they hang up! An update on the review to confirm that they have paid the debt, costs and interest. The accounts lady is very helpful and communicates well but, her hands are tied as directors tell her who and what to pay and who and what not to pay. Before offering credit, I would strongly suggest obtaining an up-to-date credit report on the company.

    Full of False Promises!!

The Directors Mr Robert Johnson & Mr Thomas Holland were involved in the sale of packaged leads, the leads were not fit for purposes and they acknowledged that they would issue a refund of the leads. Fast Forward a few months and still nothing, we visited the debtors premises and were told the company had no money to pay the debt but they would pay the debt off in installments. Again this was just a stalling tactic and they had no intention of settling the debt. We are in the process of winding up the business but avoid doing any work with these individuals.

    Bad Debtor Alert

The Company committed to a service from our client and then decided to break the service agreement without notice. Communication was very poor from the Company until Debtlaw Collections were instructed, the Company is now trying every delay tactic possible to avoid paying the amount owed.
